SPARTANEX 50 EC is a pre-plant, pre-emergent and post-emergent selective herbicide that controls broadleaf weeds and annual grasses by inhibiting cell division and cell elongation. The result is growth inhibition and death immediately after seed germination.
As a pre-plant, it is applied directly to the soil before the seedling or plug is transplanted.
As a pre-emergent, SPARTANEX 50 EC is applied to the soil after the seedling or plug is transplanted but before competing weeds start to emerge.
SPARTANEX 50 EC must be applied to moist soils or when rainfall is expected within 7 days.
SPARTANEX 50 EC must not be applied to direct seeded plots until crops are in advanced growth stage.
